The Alabama Veterinary Technician Association (AVTA) strives to
elevate the veterinary profession through the strengthening of the
veterinary health care team. We seek to promote the role of the
veterinary technician by broadening our skills, knowledge, and
professionalism, and by securing representation of veterinary
technicians in the regulatory and legislative arena. AVTA
strives to increase public awareness of the role of veterinary
technicians in veterinary medicine and our place in enhancing
the welfare of our animal patients.
